The superpower of designers is to imagine and create potential futures. Designers add most value when they push boundaries not just pixels. However, during times of change, there is increased business pressure for certainty. As a result, ideas become smaller and more predictable. Optimisation starts to trump transformation.
As design leaders, how can we move from taking tentative steps to making giant leaps? As we continue to navigate challenging times, this is a reminder of the power of design and the ability of designers to create a bold future.
