Going public - the impact on design leaders
As a Head of Product Design at Bumble Inc, the period following successful IPO was always going to be a challenge. Dealing with additional demands on the business and company performance, pressures to grow the team quickly and expanding design operations. Not to mention the ever-expanding list of stakeholders to balance. These are just a fraction of the difficulties to navigate when a company goes public.
Oliver shares his experiences finding his way through this with his team, whilst sharing some tips from the ground on how to get the best from your design org when facing similar pressures.
