Leading Design brings together experts who lead design teams, oversee design direction and know what it takes to successfully create design culture in organisations. In 2022 we hosted two days of virtual talks and discussions from our studio in Brighton, UK. For day 1 we enjoyed talks from Peter Merholz, Hayley Hughes, Ovetta Sampson and Leslie Yang. We were joined live by Julia Whitney and Lisa Welchman who were in discussion with our host Jeremy Keith.

Every one of us is navigating our career journeys seeking purpose. We are all multidimensional with personal and professional ambitions. Pursuing our passions and achieving work all matter. We may find ourselves in a place where we aren't sure of our north star and we want to find it again, or frankly, we need to create it, especially during times of change and crossroads.

Ikigai is a framework that I've been using with teams for decades that many of my teams, past and present, continue to use. Each of their careers have blossomed into incredible purposeful and rewarding outcomes. It's a framework to guide career and personal development so you can design your dream job again and again!
