As a co-founder of Wert&Co., Judy has been working with the leadership of innovative companies for over 25 years. She has earned an international reputation as a trusted authority and executive search consultant in the world of design. Judy is also known for bringing an added dimension to her work—a humanistic approach—fostering deep relationships through empathy, intuition and professionalism.
Judy works with a wide range of CEOs, designer-founders, executive teams and companies at various stages of growth and development. Her relationships span across sectors from leading venture capital firms and design led organizations to cultural, social and educational institutions. Judy navigates the complexities and cross-cultural contexts that make up the strategic fabric of a given organization. Successfully recruiting high performing leaders and their teams, Judy coaches and guides conversations in an ever-changing business landscape.
Over the course of her career, Judy has gained a wealth of insights and instructive experience from working with both young professionals and seasoned executives. Her professional relationships are cultivated over time, ensuring that opportunities for change reflect enduring interests. Judy is sought-after as an advisor and connector who has an ability to inspire and engage the most in-demand talent (including leaders at the highest levels) to consider new opportunities in a competitive marketplace. Judy grew up in Minneapolis, MN, and holds a BFA in Graphic Design from the University of Michigan. When she is not tirelessly recruiting, she can be found traveling to indigenous villages, craft-making, walking her two Norwich Terriers, practicing yoga and tending to her garden.
