How do you create a design practice that feeds collaboration in a world where people are staring at computers all day long? How does design leadership change when teams are distributed across timezones, and team building is done remotely? And most importantly, how to you create belonging, psychological safety, and trust (key ingredients in the recipe for creativity), when people are working virtually and asynchronously?
In this talk, Samantha considers how to design better creative collaboration for virtual and distributed teams. She shares the journey of her team, who are not only navigating this new reality, but also designing the software and tools to change how creatives work together.
This talk was filmed at Leading Design New York 2022. Find out more about the event details here - https://leadingdesign.com/conferences/new-york-2022
